He’s a 12 possession forward who averages just over a goal per game. He averages around three tackles per game over his career.
That is what we paid for.
People can argue that we paid too much, but that should be separate from the player.
If he kicks 30 goals and lays around 70-80 tackles, he will have had a good season.

Yep. Definitely over-priced from what we've seen. Skills and decision making haven't justified close to that price. But agree he makes enough chances and is defensively excellent. Fingers crossed he tidies ups - surely he's got it in him - and must have been cleaner at Freo for us to have paid so much. (I didn't pay any attention to him at Freo.)

Agree generally. Brings pressure. Provides good leads into the forward line. Tackles hard. Fumbles and misses goals he should kick. Still a 1st team player.

His form has mirrored the team’s a bit so far. We haven’t really clicked since 2023 and provided him with some team consistency. Never ever stops trying so when we do click he will be ready to do the same. Fully expecting us to come out firing tomorrow and Schultzy to kick 3 .

The difference tonight was that he didn't have to play as a KPF, as he did at times last year.
With the MMMs all firing , he could do what we got him for.
He complements our big boys well.
