Analysis Ladder Predictions

With such important games coming up for the majority of the Top 4 - I took the time to do some ladder predictions. Interested to see what everyone else gets: http://www.afl.com.au/ladder/ladder-predictor




I think the one game that will decide who we play presuming we win our remaining matches, is Hawthorn V. Geelong. If Hawthorn win (as I have tipped) - we face Geelong at ANZ in the first week as opposed to Fremantle.

I know we take it one week at a time - but that doesn't mean we can't at least discuss our possible opponent in Week One.

I had cats beat hawks round 1 and us beating hawks in prelim...

I voted other id like to play melbourne or stkilda week one

Like my vote suggested would prefer Freo of all teams for our first week opponent, reckon Port can still be a dangerous side in September also fast paced sides with smalls are our achilles.

EDIT: I have no idea why I put Port Ade. in and not any of the other 5/6/7 sides. I guess we played them last night so they're still fresh in my mind Damn their deceptive 1/2 half of the year that makes me think they're still in serious Top 4 contention.

Unless Geelong maintain their voodoo powers over hawthorn the hawks should finish top 2 and at least make the grand final

Would like the hawks out in straight sets almost as much as a swans flag

Yep agreed mate Hawthorn are our biggest threat of getting a second flag in 2 years by far.

Don't think we can catch the Hawks on percentage. Neither of us to drop a game. Freo to beat Port to take 4th.

With Hanners back and getting some decent game time, Jack getting over his niggles, Shaw getting more time and Smith not having a shocking game we will get back up. We were sloppy in the midfield and still only lost by 10. We will be fine

Hmmm not to sure honestly having watched them over the last 5 weeks last night they were close to their early season form but couldn't kick for peanuts which would of made the scoreline a lot closer.

I just can't see them getting it back together quick enough to get over the others who are gunning for a Top 4 spot. Happy to be proven wrong - I'd love to play an inexperienced finals side in the first week.

I know everyone calls them Ninthmond, but the real Ninth are Norf

2010 - 9th
2011 - 9th
2012 - 8th and smashed first week of the finals by 96 points (LOL norf)
2013 - 9th (once the * are removed)

They're 3% ahead of us.

Based on the predictor I've got us winning all 3 games by 30. Hawks winning next two by 12 and Collingwood by 30. They're still in front on percentage. We may score more than the 30 but so might Hawthorn in their games

Wrong, surely Norf's historical litany of failure influences where they are likely to finish this year
