Anyone out there learning a language who uses internet translators from time to time?

I was wondering if you can point me in the direction of one other than the Altavista translator, which I use from time to time but frankly isn't that good. Are there any better ones?

There's a fairly comprehensive one that used to send me at work the word of the day in any one of hundreds of languages (Swahili whatever) .......I'm at home....think it was called www.travlang.com
there's also something called Rosetta Stone which translates and has language courses.

 I have heaps of terrible habits when I write without thinking. You've just picked up on one.

I picked up on Demetriou on the radio to. I say to the missus 10 bucks he says "time to time" at least once in the next answer. Can't miss
Frawley and triffic to.

Keeps me amused anyway:o

The altavista translator is dodgy! I often used it to translate french words for high school and half the time the words just came back in english. The multi-language dictionary is the way to go people!
