Largest ever threads?

What is the largest thread you have ever seen? One with the most posts in it, either on this board, or another. I've seen a biggie at: http://kier.3dfrontier.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?forumid=4, a thread with 2,300+ posts and over 8,500 views! Probably the biggest I have ever seen! The thread is at a board called Spacebattles, quite a good board I must say (a must for Sci-Fi fans and debators alike). Although one of their main boards is shutting down due to server space.

So what's the largest thread you've ever seen? Please provide a link of the thread if you can.

I'd have to agree with you there, but it can be interesting at times (the normal, real-life debates)...

But gosh, a thread that big over a silly game like Colony Wars? Boggles the mind if ya ask me!

The last place game thread went forever....I moved to melbourne and was in a hotel for a week and it was still going strong for weeks after I had reconnected to the internet.
