Geelong interest in Ed Clarke from NSW?
Apparently Clarke (plenty on him elsewhere, all Australian, 10 Morrish medal votes in 4 games etc) was brought up in Victoria and he is seen on the Surf Coast every summer. He is a past member of Torquay Surf Club and still has plenty of mates in the area. As well as its close links with Essendon, his Sydney Club, North Shore, has a line into Geelong through one of its players (formerly at Geelong).
Bomber Thompson was seen in the crowd watching Clarke's best on performance in the Allies Cup in September - will the Cats move to toughen up their on-ball division with an interstate pick?
