Oh look its the LeBron fan boy Pricey :D

Jordan drafted into a Hall of Fame team, pleaseeee. Go check out the Bulls record back in the mids 80's, they didn't break .500 until the 1986-87 season when Pippen and Grant were 1st year rookies.
did he end up having hall of fame team mates? thanks Jimmy :D

You didn't say that;

"Oh and dont compare this to Jordan/Magic/Bird. The difference is they werent drafted into a shit team and had hall of fame players around them"

Jordan wasn't drafted to a hall of Fame team mate, not even close...

I'm not sure what to make of LeBron's move, he has a massive ego so I wonder if he left the sinking ship of Miami for greener pastures, or is he somehow trying to mend that decision he made in 2010? Also he's signed a 2 year deal is that purely based on him earning more money for the next tv rights deal or is it a get out clause if this move doesn't work out?

P.S - EAD Pricey :D

Undoubtedly the right decision on multiple counts... probably the only area Cleveland may have been a worse option than staying in Miami was the chance for a 2015 ring - I think if Miami kept it's core they would still get out of the East next season... I don't think Cleveland will this year.

I was one of the biggest critics of the 2010 "decision", but even I can see that Lebron has made statements that he regrets the way he handled that, and both for himself and for his brand, this was a way to try and undo some of that damage.

He did go elsewhere to get his first ring, but least he has now indicated that he wants to win in Cleveland, and has remained true to his word from 2010 that he would return.

He also comes into a team with a much better long-term outlook than Miami, and young legs that he won't need to carry for 40 minutes a night every game of the year.

More than anything he now gets the chance to be the veteran leader that moulds the young guys around him - that will be what I am looking for to see where I rate him at the end: is he able to get these young guys playing a style of game that fits well around Lebron and is able to win titles?

Iv'e never seen a superstar have people hate on him for no reason, it defies belief

I've never seen a bloke that loves to EAD as much as you either Pricey :D

Looking forward to LeBron's next 'decision' when it doesn't work out in two years time, maybe he can shack up with KD and Westy for another shot at a title.

Get back on my betting thread ya campaigner :D

TBH, I turned on him when he went to Miami.....I have somewhat turned again and consider myself a fan as he has gone back home. He has done this for all the right reasons (going back to Cleveland). Is he the GOAT.....No, I don't think so.

Lets just say he is the best right now and has been for 5 years.....:)

Agreed... and I am looking forward to see how his career pans out to decide where to rate him amongst the greatest... he should end up, at a minimum, in the top 2. (but he's not there yet)
I said during the finals series that, no matter how many rings he gets there, I would never consider him better than Jordan because of his decision to jump ship to Miami... but his decision to come back to Cleveland (even though it's long term prospects are much better than Miami's) has made me seriously reconsider that... if he is able to stay at this level for the next half decade, and get a few rings with this team developing around him, that would be a serious case for GOAT. (Having said that, if in 2-3 years he bails again, then he could drop a fair bit).

I would say that he is here (Cleveland) for good.....cant see him leaving again. I think when talking about MJ v LBJ, people weigh in the fact that MJ took basketball to new heights....all the way around the world and not just on his basketball skill << Its irrelevant but seems to come up when discussing this topic.

Can you see people still talking about LBJ in 30 years.....tbh, I cant but I can see people still talking about who MJ was.

Damn, what did he do to to you? Run over your dog?
I call a spade a spade regardless of a players stature in the NBA.

Cliff Paul is a bigger campaigner

I'm aware of his faults that's why you don't see me cry whenever every CP3 haters troll him, water off a ducks back and all that. He's a grown and incredibly wealthy man, he doesn't need me (or care about me) to fight for him/defend his honour against anonymous posters on internet forums.

Hated Lebron when he went to Miami but really started to like him the last 2 years you can see he loves Cleveland its good to see superstars in sport can still play for more then money
