Yes, i enjoyed it! It's a short game, but the re-playability is awesome, i've done it probably 5 or 6 times. Mowing over thousands upon thousands of zombies, never gets old. lol Especially when you have the mini chainsaw!

I never felt much satisfaction in it though because you'd clear out one area then load another, clear it out, go back to the previous one and it's just as full as it was before.

There is now rumours that Left 4 Dead is a possiblity of coming to the PS3. :thumbsu:

MORE PROOF THAT LEFT 4 DEAD IS COMING TO PS3?
In the lastest episode of Game Trailers 'The Bonus round' they have clearly listed upcoming title Left 4 Dead for the PlayStation 3 as well as Xbox 360 and PC. Now this follows on from recently when EA confirmed that it was being released in there winter 2008 release line up and also when valve said a PlayStation 3 version was possible.

Now this for now remains a rumor, however it does look likey that Left 4 Dead will be released on the PlayStation 3 at some point.

The intro movie is awesome... although I do have slight misgivings about Hulk-sized zombies.

WOW

that was one of the best cinematic game trailers i've ever seen

i thought this game was going to suck without any real story but if that trailer is anything to go by it's going to have some cool cutscenes as well

there's no doubting the gameplay will be fast and franticly intense

He's one of a range of boss type zombies that pop up here and there - same with the screaming girl zombie who reacts to flashlights, and the one with the rope like appendages.

Preview wasn't that impressive really, but I agree, this game is going to pwn big time.

Its four player co-op, I'm thinking of starting up my XBL membership again just for this game.

Anyone want to play 4 player co-op through it with me? Will there be 3 other people here getting it at launch? I'd love to play with Mancey, so I can shoot him when he's not looking, I mean, so I can outscore him in a sporting manner.

How does the co-op thing work, can you find people to play the game through the server or do you have to choose people who are up to the same bit as you?

Played the demo through about 5 or 6 times. The game is going to rule.

Pipe Bombs are the coolest thing ever man, it's great seeing a horde of 30-40 zombies charge at you before scrambling off in the other direction chasing down a pipe bomb you've just thrown. Afterwards, i huge cloud of blood splatters everwhere as it explodes.

I think the game is going to really succeed in what they tried to achieve, 'survival horror'. If you are playing co-op in a team of 4 and one sorry ass tries to jump ahead and leave the team he is going to get owned.In the easier difficulties it may not be so bad, but on expert he won't stand a chance.

The only irks i have about the game; I was pretty competent on Advanced difficulty straight up. Easy and normal are irrelevent. With a bit of practice, Expert will be the only difficulty level worth playing on. Molotov Cocktails. Do more damage to your team mates than anything, although i can't really complain after playing only 2 levels. I'm sure there will be levels which make better use of them. The 2 levels in the demo have a lot of confined spaces. And the last one is not having at least the option to turn friendly fire off!

. The trainstation level is pretty cool. About time they have the M4A1(Best gun EVER!!).

For 2.2GB of demo, I thought they would have more than two levels.

FF off??? No way! Played the demo 20 odd times already, never going to get sick of this. I know guys who have put in 30 hours of this already

What intrigues me about this game is the AI Director. I think it sounds f'ing brilliant.

Playing Co-op 4 people, 1 is excellent and the other 3 are ok, the AI will focus heavily on the 1 person doing really well....I love the sound of that :thumbsu:

The demo is good. You need a powerful system to run this game. There's only two levels in the 2.2Gb of download.
