I know that Professor X is Legion's father, but do people watching the show know this? There was a shot of a wheel with an X on it, and Legion surmised that his father was a telepath, but I'm not sure if that was enough for everyone to join the dots.

I'm not really a big x-men fan and I wouldn't have guessed if I didn't search it up

Highly recommend this show. The script is tight, it's visually stunning and the soundtrack is awesome. The alternate realities are trippy but the show (eventually) gives you enough clues to work out what is real and what is imagined. As others have said the Bolero scene in ep 7 is spectacular.

I think that episode was even weirder and more trippy than the first series.

Still stuffed if I know what's going on but fascinated at the same time.

Rewatching season one. Best show based on a superhero property comfortably. Really hope it keeps getting renewed even though it probably won’t ever have a large viewership

I'd take it a step further and say it's the best series or film based on any Marvel/DC property this decade, with maybe one or two exceptions.

And yeah, season premiere was so ****ing wild but just such a treat to watch. I actually think the larger arc of the story is relatively straight-forward, but it's the in episode moments that makes you go whhhhhaaatt?

Love that it's back.

I don't have to be the cool kid... While your 2nd sentence is exactly how I felt during season 1... Your 1st sentence is enough to keep me away from season 2.

It’s good but doesn’t feel to be hitting the heights of season 1.
I think it's because it's not having any emotional connection with the characters and has become too cerebral.

The way it's filmed can sometimes be really exhilarating.

Probably dragged a little, maybe one or two episodes too many, but feels like we're hitting a real stride between Farouk and David. Found the Syd and David, and the many world episodes especially terrific. It's take on mental illness is so unique and nuanced. Banger soundtrack this season as well.
