Just to add some balance, go and have a look at the highlights of that match on Magpie Cinema. Leon was very good and I think thats why he was selected last week. Whether he gets selected this week is another question.

I agree with you that Leon was picked becuase he was very good against the Saints in round 16, he had 4 goal assists and I think he kicked 2 himself. If he can play like that against the Saints it will help us bigtime.

It truely would be an amazing story if he got a run and kicked 4 wouldn't it.

Ahh Smokey had we had a different player putting in a better contribution over a longer period of time we probably wouldn't have ever been in that position. We would have won the grand final and not needed a replay.

I don't want him dropped because he didn't perform in 2003, he hasn't performed in any final over his whole career. He wasn't able to do it as a youngster. He wasn't able to perform in 3 finals last year despite being an AA player and he hasn't performed in 2 go's this year in the finals.

On top of that this year he has been average at best in the home and away season, it would be utterly suprising and unlikely for him to just "flick" the switch and play a good game.

I think the only way Leon is going to explode on the weekend is if your pet bird is named Leon and your planning on feeding him panadol.

On the whole I do agree with you, but Betts and Garlett ran rings around St.Kilda in Round 7. Something slipped up in their defensive structures that night obviously.

Leon doesn't have the speed to do this ATM
