I'm a Hawks supporter but I don't see how it's relevant to Goodes being a protected species.
You don't think there's one set of rules for Goodes and one for the rest of the League? You don't think he'd have a couple of weeks off if Campbell Brown (or Steven Milne) had done what Goodes did?

You can't convict him of something you're not sure he even did. The evidence came up as inconclusive.
Last time I looked we had a system of innocent until proven guilty - that's whats consistent in the tribunal system. Or would you prefer to revert to Nazism and let someone be convicted for an act they may not have even committed
