I know ill prob get shot down for this but I reckon going after a jeff garlett wouldn't b such a bad idea.
Would have to b on the cheap if it were to eventuate. Sadley I think Knights is done, hope I'm wrong but wouldn't be shocked if he wasn't there come 2016.

No issue whatsoever with at a minimum talking to Garlett. Nothing ventured...nothing gained. He's shown he can play and if his mind is right, could be an excellent player for anyone who picks him up.

I've seen Mcbean play in the NAB Cup and even though it says that he's added some mass he still looks like a twig. I am aboard the hype train but I'd much rather have a monster swingman like Carlisle.

didn't knights come back about round 18 in the reserves , i thought he got through the game okay , does anyone have any feedback on how he went for the few matches after that in the reserves, ( just hoping he can make it back)

Struggled with knee soreness for the remainder of the season. In fact i may be wrong but i think he had to have a bone fragment removed at the end of the season.

Seriously, he's finished. Can't bend his wrists and his foot/ankle is knackered.

Makes me wonder. I've given up hope on knights but if the source of the problem has been rectified I wonder if we may see him play next season. Liked what we saw (very briefly) last year.

Here's my creative trade !

Jaksch to Carlton for their first pick 7 I think then we trade pick 11 and Batchelor to GWS for pick 7 then recruit Pickett who any of those other high end choices that immediately will fill one of our gaps ?

the club is p*ssing in the wind. we WILL NOT get any decent players in this trade period or any other for the next 3-4 years
not until we are looking like a decent team. having lost the last few elim finals have actually done worse for our rep than finishing ninth and looking on the up.
i have not seen any GOOD players nominate for Richmond since Nathan Brown.
makes me angry to see good players stitch up other teams for hawthorn, collingwood etc, plus all the interstate teams having the go home factor, where they only have to compete against 1 other side to get a quality player with homesickness, where we have to compete against 9 other clubs for homesick players.

the fact is, at the moment, that we are still not a big enough club to have ANY sway in the trade period.

Sounds like everybody wants too much so not many deals get done even with other parties.

I think us relying on the draft is a smart move ATM!

i would love, LOVE, to see a team basically say to someone like o'rouke "f* you, you dont pick who you go to , WE trade you to the best offer" none of this "i want to go to this team". no way the hawks can offer any draft picks worth GWS trading.
hope saints offer pick 1 and gws trade 2-3 good players
