Level 4 Coaching course

Discussion thread with recommendations about who should and who should not attend the AFLs level 4 coaching course.

Starting with James Hird - this should have been mandatory before he recommenced after suspension.
Also advise that he pay particular attention to the duty of care to players and responsibility sections of the course.

As AFL becomes increasingly professional as an industry, so should coaching.

As of 2010, every Manager from every top flight club in Europe needs to have completed their UEFA Pro License, which would be the equivalent to the Level 4 here in Australia, im staggered that it isnt a requirement for coaching at AFL level, especially after everything that happened with Hird,

Ross Lyon, John Longmire, Paul Roos... maybe they can be instructed to coach an entertaining brand of footy instead of the absolute stinking pile of manure we have to watch if/when we decide to see their teams play.

I hope when Hodgey retires he moves in to coaching- a leader of men. Hopefully that's a while off yet.
