Yep Pickering was just doing his job and he did it well. He got his client the deal he was after. The fact that he manages other players who have stayed at their clubs gives an indication that he's not only about his cut of the salary.

Vent your anger towards the AFL - they have created the situation that has encouraged Gazza to go to another club. Its ironical that after drafting him under father/son he now pisses off to the GC under a rule that is the first step towards free agency.
Pickers is no different to any other scumbag agent and as others have mentioned he is working for Ablett and acting on his behalf.

Not Pickers doing. He's an employee of Gaz. Contrast the way Gaz handled this with the way Buddy (who Pickers also manages) handled the approach from the GC. Buddy effectively told the GC to piss off as he was a Hawk - and they did.
