A team this even doesn't have a 'bottom 6'. Just as it doesn't really have any true standouts. That's why the Normie was so hard to judge, could have gone to 5-6 different Hawks. This is also why we don't win as many AAs, Brownlows etc. This club does not give two fat hairy shits about those things. Flags, and flags only, is what the Hawthorn FC is about.

McEvoy was excellent on GF day, harsh bottom 6.

#hawthornproblems

Yep. Coasters had 2 or 3 players better than our 21st worst player. And in 1 1/2 quarters Suckling was as good as many Coasters who played a full game.

Hale was quiet but even he was okay compared to the opposition.

The entire list should be proud. Noone was carried. No one was made to look better than they were. Everyone had a role and played it.

They should ditch the Bombers as an emblem and embrace the *

3 time prem player behind Ballantyne

Is this the Ballantyne that goes nuts at the start of the Preliminary Final, elbowing and punching his opponents in the back, trying to start a ruckus?
And then stuffs up at crucial times, including giving up a goal in the first quarter, and turning the ball over in the last quarter and allowing Taylor Duryea to kick the goal of the match?

Yes, he's obviously better than Shiels...

Liam Shiels has missed 18 games since rnd 1 2012. In those games we have won 10 and lost 8. At an average percentage of 135%.

(This includes two massive wins against St Kilda and Carlton.)

That's a win percentage 55.56%

In the same era in total Hawthorn have won 69 matches and lost 20.
With a percentage of 145.6% and a sin percentage of 77%

Where the hell are you Liam we need you.
