Well guys, as sad as it may be, this could be the last time we see Licka in a Pies jumper tonight. I think its his last roll of the dice. If he can't find form tonight against the bottom team then his AFL career surely will come to an end at the conclusion of the season.

Some people may disagree, but i think for the Pies to go forward, the best option is to let Licka go.

Good luck Licka hope ya have a blinder!!! :thumbsu:

I was expecting more from him this season, but I dont want him to go, I hope he plays really well and wins some respect back

Licca is an intresting one, As some players get old and become depth players wakelin and gasper being good examples. Other players are of value in the 22 till there last game I thought with the sort of fighter Licca has been and our lack of depth and hard bodied inside mid's he would be of value to the end. This year unfortunatly he has been a shadow of his former self and the fact is his disposal has always been poor and is costing him even more.

I think the club and Licca need to sit down and have a chat and work out where he is at. If they both feel he is needed and he feels he can get back to somewhere where he feels he can have an impact at afl level i have no problem with him staying on. However you don't want a former club champ being on the fringe running around in the vfl with no hope of getting back and just eating up a spot on the list

How he won 2 copelands is beyond me! Champion bloke yes. Club champion NO.

unless he has an absolute shocker don't think it'll be his last. not why Mick is the coach. good luck Licca

sorry to say but this has to be his last game in the B&W. Great Collingwood man but his time has come gives away too many free kicks and doesn't get enough of the ball to out weight his poor disposal and lack of pace.

Lica should fall on his sword and retire. Been running a treadmill the past 12 months, doesn't get near his opponent, shit skills and can't find the footy!

Don't get me wrong, been a magnificent servent of the Collingwood Football CLub, but now is the time to go.

A really good magpie past it now. I would think he would understand the game has past him by. Hopefully he can make an announcement before seasons end and have some form of send off (hard as we are still contending for finals)

I love Licuria, I know him first hand to be an outstanding bloke, and his 40-touch effort in the final against Port at AAMI is one of the most inspiring individual sporting efforts I've witnessed.

On all available evidence, however, it's time for Licuria to bow out gracefully. :(

Sad but true, a champion and great 'hard ball get' type player. BUT, who's to replace him- this is why he continues to get a game. He has that grunt factor. Only potential midfielder (new- not including broadie) that might fit the bill is D. Nicholls- not sure here either?

Cmon guys, surely you're being too tough? Had a great career and ONE bad year. Will be much better in 2008.

Its not that he had a bad season mate the signs were there even last season that Licka was getting too slow and his effectiveness was starting to deter.

Sorry Licka but your gone, your not the only one but.

Question guys. How many times this season have you seen Paul Licuria in the centre square during the bounces?

Licca will play until such a time that he decides it is time for his football career to be over. or at least he wont be delisted by MM. champion tough player tho. gotta love that.

Licca will only stay if MM plays favourites and keeps an old man on the list, defying some young kid the chance to blossom!!

Lets be honest, we all love licca. Top bloke, USED to be a great, hard running player, although the game has superseded him. He is too slow and his poor skills can be hidden no more

sorry Licca but its time you make way for the new generation of champions
