I can't say I have tried it however. My uni tutour tells me that.

If you pay a few dollars extra then the account can't be closed until you are issued a refund, now being lazy the government aren't going to waste time issuing you a $2 refund. So therefore the account stays open but the fine has been paid. You only lose the points once you have paid the fine correctly.

Worth a shot at only an extra couple of dollars.
I've heard about this. But it's not about the Government being lazy, they will send you the cheque, but unless you cash the cheque, then the points don't get taken off.

The guy who has done this has apparently about 20, $5 cheques lying around.

Well apparently it works, that is a big trick. I have a good, I use the term good loosely, who is always getting in shit with speeding fines and just being a dick driver. I might sell this idea to him for a nice $50.00.

Life trick #9000
Beer then grass, you're on your arse
Grass then beer, you're in the clear

srsly

This is bullshit.

Well, it works, but only that if you smoke first you are not going to want to drink more than three or four beers.

It has nothing to do with the weed you smoke, but it's all about the booze.

Weed hangovers are fine, alcohol is ****ed.

I've had some pretty bad weed hangovers tbh.
Not as bad as my alcohol hangovers, but still bad enough.

Surely only on local mail though, wouldn't the post office be a little suss about a letter from Melbourne being dropped off unstamped in a letterbox in Perth?

It sometimes works, but sometimes it actually gets sent to the recipient anyway. It's hit and miss.
