If you pay a few dollars extra then the account can't be closed until you are issued a refund, now being lazy the government aren't going to waste time issuing you a $2 refund. So therefore the account stays open but the fine has been paid. You only lose the points once you have paid the fine correctly.

Worth a shot at only an extra couple of dollars.

The guy who has done this has apparently about 20, $5 cheques lying around.

That's not always true though, I've gone the former option plenty of times with no negative repercussions.

Depends how drunk you are. If you've only had a couple of drinks you can be fine. If you're wasted, you'll be spewing in no time.

Well apparently it works, that is a big trick. I have a good, I use the term good loosely, who is always getting in shit with speeding fines and just being a dick driver. I might sell this idea to him for a nice $50.00.

Not as bad as my alcohol hangovers, but still bad enough.

It sometimes works, but sometimes it actually gets sent to the recipient anyway. It's hit and miss.
