Surely only on local mail though, wouldn't the post office be a little suss about a letter from Melbourne being dropped off unstamped in a letterbox in Perth?Have tried it, definately does work

Will tryI can't say I have tried it however. My uni tutour tells me that.
If you pay a few dollars extra then the account can't be closed until you are issued a refund, now being lazy the government aren't going to waste time issuing you a $2 refund. So therefore the account stays open but the fine has been paid. You only lose the points once you have paid the fine correctly.
Worth a shot at only an extra couple of dollars.
