if we traded peake for dalziell, it would be the biggest stichup for brisbane in their history....

with the history of trade week being what it is, how likely do you guys think it is that we could get trades done for all of tarrant, drum, peake, campbell/murphy and hasleby? my thoughts are not bloody likely, i reckon we are destined for atleast some disappointment in teh first week of october unfortunately

Re: Pratt Gorn

According to the ever reliable yahoo news

http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/a/-/afl/5910396/dockers-put-up-campbell-for-trade/

"The Dockers have told six players that they will be delisted as of 31 October, 2009. They include primary listed players Andrew Browne (retired), Adam Campbell, Daniel Gilmore and Josh Head plus rookie listed players Brent Connelly and Luke Pratt."

Say it aint so Pratty.

I dont think that you will find anyone arguing with any of these delistings. Pratt being delisted is disappointing but there was always going to be some pain in this process.

Pratt has has some bad luck along the way but I feel that he still may get another shot along the way. Being picked up by another club though I feel is unlikely.

Overall, very good selection of Delistings.

Done and DONE!!! I would even go so far as to throw in Murphy as a sweetener. There you go Lions, you have 1 player who has 5 speeds in reverse and one who barely even knows where he is.

Dalziell to us would be excellent for our midfield but it would have to be a situation where none of our core group of players would be involved. Only players who want to walk and are not in the best 22. Peake is definately in this mould.

Re: Pratt Gorn

Not sure why Brisbane would want Peake. They drafted Kieren King last year who is an elite runner - and I mean elite - he just needs to be taught how to play. He has pretty good skills, he's just not very football smart.

Browne, Head, Gilmore, Campbell, Connelly, Pratt, Drum, Peake.....

It's hard not be happy with the list management news so far. The first 6 were all obvious delistings, and the last two should get us some draft picks come trade week. Now it's just a matter of them deciding on Murphy and Foster.

As for Brock O'Brien, I think re-signing him was the right move. Hopefully next year they play him in the midfield though, because he isn't a back pocket. Surrounding guys like Ibbotson, Mundy, Hill and Hinkley with Palmer, Suban, DeBoer and O'Brien sounds like a pretty decent midfield mix to me.

i'm happy
now we can trade get a few trades in (Drum? Peake?)
and 2010 should be better than this year actually

I am fully behind the delisting of Kiwi but still very disappointed, after last year I really thought he would come out firing and be a 45+ a year goal kicker. Wonder if he will stay in WA if no other AFL club picks him up.

Wish Fremantle starts playing Finals football VERY soon!
:(

Can't wait till Freo has it's First chance to hold that cup up!...i look forward to that day

Pretty sure another club will pick Kiwi up.
I think he could be a very handy option up forward an at times looks like he has glue on his hands the way his marks just stick.

I see him as a Cloke type player i dont think much of him but he does a valuable job in taking a good opponent and creating space for main forward target.
Could easily see Kiwi playing a role in teams like Carlton,Bulldogs,Collingwood etc.
If they dont put a decent opponent on him theres a chance he could take advantage an get 4+ goals.

Will be suprised if both Kiwi and Happy (gilmore) dont get picked up by other clubs.

if we played like we did in our last 2 games at subi why can't we be good
if tazza goes i'll hang by balls on a nail on subiaco though :(

because our best players are ageing, and we dont have a spine.... personally i think it is in our best interest long term if tazza leaves, and while it will be sad to see him go, i hope the club does offload him, but it will mean that we will be in for some fearful floggings next year. guys like fevola will kick 15 goals a game playing us

gee, i wouldnt have thought any other club would be stupid enough to pick up gilmore... horrible footballer

fev won't kich shit if we have taz
i say we keep because our defence would be a hole without him
yes tarant we'll only be short term, but what will do, trade tarrant for a young inexperienced defender?
