We can look at two different games in Collingwood and Brisbane to see where our players are really at. When we are up and about our list looks fantastic as it did against Collingwood, but after getting jumped by Brisbane and alot of attention being applied to Fevola it is obvious our players really struggle.

Now it would be plain stupid to ignore the injury list including best-22 players Thornton, Cloke, Bannister, Walker, Hartlett, Houlihan, Jamison and other players coming in and out of the team in Armfield and Jackson.

The side looks much better with blokes of these quality in the trenches but the only ones that seem to put up there hand week in week out are Murphy, Fevola, Stevens, Judd, Betts and Jamison.

With the club that will be pushing for finals from 2009 the club really does need to look at some players and decide weather they deserve to be there. Guys like Sentanta (love the bloke and he tries like anyone but simply doesn't have the talent), Wiggins (mature player that is hard at it but doesn't perform consistently well), Ackland (was given one last chance but couldn't compete against Charman), Russel (Is being given his chance and performing accordingly but isn't displaying the skill or pace he so often uses at VFL level), Saddington (Only here for injury support but even then creates little to no run which is a must in modern football) and Blackwell (Just can't find a way to get into the midfield rotation, slow and can not kick over a can).

Now that we have seen the side perform well (collingwood) and poorly (Brisbane), where is our list really at?
