Ive had a crack at breaking our list into groups. its just my opinion so tell me if ive made a blue.
Untouchable:
Hasleby (needs some help in the midfield,but still effective )
Mcpharlin ( May be a better option than Pav for CHF next year, He might be our Barometer)
Bell ( cant ask him to do more than hes doing,maybe some of his teammates should follow his lead)
Haddrill ( Rarely Beaten even when giving away height and weight)
Pavlich ( Needs to learn to use the talent he has, and throw his weight around a bit more)
J.Longmuir (found his role now after being dropped (how ironic) )
Polak ( needs to bulk up, has improved a heap since going back)
Schammer (shown enough to suggest he can be a quality midfielder)
M.Carr (we have missed him more than i thought we would,quality tagger)
Mid range players ( some foot soldiers ,some underachivers)
Headland (needs to improve, might be better suited off a HFF than in the midfield,accountability problems)
Simmonds ( jurys out as to weather hes a forward or not,might be better rotating thru the ruck with Jlo if we can develop a tall forward)
Hayden (Does his job,seems to developed a more attacking side to his game with run this year)
Medhurst ( needs to narrow the gap between his best and worst, goes missing way too much and applies little defensive pressure)
Farmer ( has his problems, loses his cool too much ,his form is not as bad as had been made out, defensive pressure has been good)
Parker (another who does his job, getting on a bit now but should go out on his terms)
Cook ( skills arent great but doesnt take a backward step, handy defensive midfielder)
Mcmanus ( see Cook)
Players who are tradeable
Grover (skills are nothing special, pulls out of contests at times)
Woods ( great skills but is soft as butter , wasted talent)
Walker ( all he has is his pace and he doesnt apply it well enough, soft)
T.Longmuir (WAFL superstar and plays the occasional good game,might have a better opputunity to prove himself elsewhere)
Siegert ( bit tough on him ,gives 100% , might add depth)
Youngster with promise
Thornton ( shows poise in defence, not convinced about him taking kick ins but looks quality)
Browne ( puts body on the line and has pace, needs to work on kicking skills,needs more time on the ball)
Murphy ( will be quality,showing plenty in the wafl as a tall forward in his first year, great disposal, good set shot , great mark but will take time)
Sandilands (very raw still and has a lot to work on, still only 21)
Webster ( if his knees hold up he could develop into a decent midfielder allowing Pav to play a KPP )
Gilmore ( has pace and good disposal, needs to work on getting into the contest)
Dunn (injury ruined first year, hard nut which we lack, big pre season and he should get more games next year)
Campbell ( long term prospect, good hands and not a bad kick)
Smith ( hard at it, lacks pace and kick penetration,good at stoppages)
Mundy ( good disposal, mid sized defender, will need to play well to crack a spot unless we get injuries)
Johnson ( has good skills, not a bad mark but goes missing, has been rucking for the demons and might be a handy around the ground ruckmen)
Peake ( might become a decent wingman, has a long kick , not bad pace, give time)
Dodd (taller version of peake)
Delist
Cunningham ( been on the list a while, just a back up player, skills arent great, times up)
Waterhouse ( enigmatic but his time is up )
Crowley ( hasnt looked like cracking a game, struggles in the wafl)
Edgecumbe (wingman, cant get a game for peel )
Haines (seems detined to be delisted due to knee complaint)
Doswell ( cant get a game for souths )
