Brad Howard delisted after 2 seasons.
I thought he re-signed for 2 years a couple of weeks back. If that's true i will be very, very pissed off.

Making room for someone perhaps?

That's what i thought too. But i don't remember ever seeing an article or official word from the club. The only indication we had was from a video interviewing him.

Nathan Carroll delisted too by the Dees. :thumbsd:

Interesting to see that according to the "deletions", good old Brad Howard has not retired, has not been traded and has not been delisted - apparently he has somehow just disappeared...

I have a suspicion that we may find the solution to this mistery in the source of this miracle announcement?

Update : well, maybe he has been delisted after all...

It's the only report I could find - nothing on saints.com.au or any of the major papers.

I have to say that this would be nothing short of bizarre. What happened to his recently signed new two year contract ? What happened to Lyon's four years development chance for the kids ? What happened to credibility, keeping the supporters informed and acting in a financially sensible way ?

If this is the 'trade' for Melbourne in return for the Demons paying Carroll's contract for 2009 (Melbourne have delisted Carroll and of course have the #1 PSD pick), you can add disgraceful to bizarre !

Another update : He is still listed as a senior player on saints.com.au - in fact, under 'bio' it reads "The second Queenslander drafted by the Saints in 2007, Howard is a hard-running midfielder who boasts explosive pace. The club’s second-round selection, he represented Queensland in the 2005 NAB AFL Under-18 Championships. Will be given time to develop."

... somewhere.
