Was watching the game at home and had to leave for a family dinner at 6.15pm when the third quarter was just starting. Didn't give us a hope in hell.

Anyways when at dinner I received a text with the final scores and in one of Melbourne's top restaurants jumped up and shouted in joy, raising my arms in triumph!!! Was pretty funny seeing the look on the faces of those around me!

Now, I need you to tell me what happened! I left home 6 or so goals down, in wet weather. and then WHAM! WTF!?? How did it happen? Someone fill in my blanks!

Basically, we had no chance in hell at 3/4 time, then the rain started coming tumbling down.

A long bomb from Jarrod Waite gave us some hope, followed by an Eddie Betts goal. Then Matty Kreuzer stood tall and kicked us another, we were right back in it. Juddy's clearances were amazing, and our team ethic rose through the roof. Kreuzer went on to kick two more goals, then Kade Simpson put is infront by 6.

Siren blows, and Fev kicks a goal after the siren.

Forget Russell's first half. His last quarter was the best quarter he has played for the Carlton Football Club, ever. He was tough as nails, throwing his body on the line every single time. He was brilliant.

Murph was great. His disposal in the first 3 quarters was ordinary, but everything clicked in the last and his disposal turned to the quality that we know it can be.

Judd is a modern marvel. May not have the burst speed back, but his gut running is the best that I have seen in a footballer. He just doesn't stop, and he puts his body on the line every single time. Really stepped up and was instrumental in getting us over the line.

You just gotta get a replay!
