I think now that he has had a full year to get over his broken arm he will be back to his former self. He will have a big year this year.

Since Caracella, Mercuri, Misiti, Long and Bewick have left we've struggled in finding players who can hit him lace out when he leads, so he probably thinks he's just as much of getting the footy if he stays in the goalsquare. I'd back him 1 on 1 vs any defender in that situation but the problem is he's often going up against 3.

Hopefully our younger midfielders, the addition of Campo and Rama returning give him more confidence to lead.

Player such as Camporeale, cole, and Heffernan will be instrumental in providing Lloyd with lace out delivery. Lloyd will have a big year if these sort of players play the rolethe coaching staff were looking for when they drafted them.

if he does we'll finish top 4. I dont believe the problem actually was Lloyd this year i rekon it was more that we didnt win enough of the ball to get it down tohim and when we did it was sometimes with poor disposal.

Lloyd needs support in the forward line.

If we can make a big marking target out of CJ or Laycock &/or a resting Hilly then he is a realistic chance of having a big year.

It is no use kicking it to him constantly with 3 backs hanging off him all the time............if that happens it doesnt matter how good the delivery of the footy is.....most times he wont get it.

Hence we have to develop other marking threats on the fwd line that plant the seeds of doubt in the minds of defenders.......then Lloyd will find space to compete one-on-one & the disposal of our midfielders will actually improve because they are kicking to a moving target rather than simply bombing it in the goalsquare.
