Spoke to someone from Newbridge today and they confirmed that Mills and Comer are staying on. I hear they have signed a few players already. anyone heard who?

With the Western Border League undergoing a restructure, they've pulled out of the Vic Championships in 2013. As a result, the LVFL will now play the Horsham District league next year instead of the Picola North League.
 
Ruckman is gone, Mcinness most likely gone as well. Another strong rumour is Birchy is gonna be skills coach at the Pioneers next year, Just what they need!

Comer went on a hunger strike on the roof of his house in Kangaroo Flat until Newbridge agreed to give him more money, there are photos on facebook to confirm it. Fordy was there giving instructions after his experience on Christmas Island!
 
also heard a very Big whisper from the Hill that Gav James might have been on the move to Boort, he is now staying for a little less money but Hill must provide a Hairdresser at every game for him to fix the locks during every break!

Let's get some chat going guys..... Hellboy can Marong jump into the top 3 in 2013? Any new recruits? Word is YCW are really impressed with their new Coach and expect to play finals again, Not sure about losses but Pyramid have picked up a few handy ones so they should stay in amongst the finals mix.

Looks like the panthers picked up some quality from the central Murray league, a key back to negate grayling

also picked up David Romer from Kyneton who is a ruckman/key position and will go well in LVFL. Ex Rochester GV player and should be agile enough to play a few different positions. Pretty good get.

said the same thing last year and year before with Phil in charge.

Pat Jess needs to get a 2-3 wins within the first 5 games and to keep the majority of the team from last year plus gain a few recruits to be given a pass early in the season. All talk and every team thinks they will play finals in January.

Won't be getting carried away JB, but we are certainly looking to play finals, hopefully with a top 3 finish. Then again, so is every other side at this time of year. As has been mentioned already, we've picked up Dave Romer and Zac & Jake Boyer from Kyneton. Bryan Vance is set to return this year and possibly Aaron Bell as well. A few others on board, and hopefully a few more to come.
