They have up singificantly more than just Bartel to get a part time forward last year, they'd be laughing their asses off at getting Fevola for just Bartel.

Seriously though, i would have thought Cole would be worth say a Birss or Sammy Power, besides if you get Sam, expect to recieve his brother in the not so distant future! Besides the Dogs have already said that are not prepared to pay for the services of Luke because the amount of midfielders at the Dogs, and Luke has stated that he will only leave Brissy to play footy with his brother.
 
the cole trade is an interesting one

he was pick 13 if i remember correctly

know for a fact that essendon were very keen on him & bulldogs when had terry wallet as coach were also very keen

quite interesting given that last year when collingwood were chasing gilbee the bulldogs would have jumped at taking r.cole!!!

gilbee had done nothing until this year & almost made AA

cole had been making steady progress until this year, supposed personal issues cant have helped

cole is one player on our list whom does appear to have some currency, either trade him now or we will have to keep him for good & just hope that he does come good & this year was an abberation not the norm!

If you go back and actually read the post, you'll find that the three way trade that involved Fevola was in order to land Geelong's James Bartel at Collingwood. I wouldn't want Fev if he was being traded for a 5th round draft pick.

I said to suggest Gilbee for Cole is as stupid as suggesting Tarrant for Power, I didn't actually suggest the trade.
