Yeah that too as long as he's young enough to have further development potential. I'd put him straight into Hudson's rookie spot.

Another thought is Lynch. Not a genuine ruck but could he take that spot? I suspect the answer is not due to injury, but food for thought

We definitely need some cover in this area although Witts has really stepped up.

Yep we definitely need one more Ruck with both Hudson and Lynch most likely gone (they should be). I hope we just use a rookie pick on a young ruck and with Witts, Grundy, White and Cox that should be enough.

Witts has really impressed me. Grundy is also developing nicely and with another pre-season may be a big improver next year. A mature ruck around the mid 20s would be a nice insurance policy and give the VFL team a boost.

If we play Witts and Grundy.. that leaves Cox as our only vfl ruckman.. I'm not going to bother including Hudson. Cox has never played an AFL game in his life so I am making a bold prediction that. 1 it is unlikely he will make it, and 2. if he does make it.. it will be many years of development from now. Also if say Witts gets a season ending injury.. we are down to Grundy and Cox as our only 2 genuine senior ruck options... if we ever have to play Hudson it is a big fail.

Dave's not saying we don't need a ruck, he's responding to your post that we need a 'ruck project'. Witts and Grundy are young rucks and Cox is the ruck project.

Apart from that you've produced a captain obvious wish list: we just need great players at every line. Wowee, what an amazing concept.

Try it again with an air of reality about it - how we would achieve it as things stand right now. It's good to want it but you need to articulate how it might happen. Tell us how you would work it as you make it sound incredibly easy.

Crumbling small forward and speedster outsider with sharp skills with allot of hurt factor and a running defender

A big solid bull centre half back.
An elite midfielder.
A small forward.
experienced ruckman.

That would be my radar if I was hine going in to 2015.

Robbo on 360 just out it too Buckley we are after frawley and Buckley look pretty pissed at the question . Unsure how he slots in to the brown/keefe/frost back line, and who makes room for him.

I took that as an admission we are right on Frawley's hammer.

Could i ask what your definition of a Big Solid bull chb is? I like the term but i cant put my finger on anyone who fits this description, perhaps Steven May comes across as one.

Edit: obviously May is signed on at GCS.

He seemed caught out didn't he? The smirk may have said a lot.

Brown or Keeffe depart if that is the case.

I think we can take two things from the interview:

a/. always accept a poker invitation from Bucks
b/. we are red-hot on Frawley
Considering he left Keeffe out of the side last week and said today Reid might have to play down back against Adelaide, this wasn't his best moment.

Que?

Not sure what the connection is here to the Frawley trade talk.

A Glen Jacovich type at CHB for us would help enormously is an understatement.
Not sure who the best CHB in the game would be today...

Frawley as a FA for nothing and an experienced defender for another early bite at the draft. Is not beyond the realm.

Frawley in, Moore in, early pick in.
