Just browsing thru some of the older threads,found this one from 2001.
I'm sure I'll never get another one so right

Predictions are a funny thing & opinions make the world go round.
Credit also to Tiger of old & CJH for their wisdom.
A couple of the predictions from other clubs seem strange.
I guess hindsight is a wonderful thing.

way to go cjh...top review on pettifer. When's he going to get that form back ?

And that is the frustrating thing about Pettifer. He has more ability than most players but can't seem to get over the mental hurdle that is blocking him from displaying it!

He needs to be staring the end in the face to make him perform. He needs to be told "this is your last chance - perform today or you are gone.

If he can't produce under those circumstances then he has to go. Of course th eother thing is that he has only been with us under Frawley so maybe another coach could get more out of him.

Sean Burgoyne- tall defender????

Unless he's shrunk,he's not tall & has the defensive skills of
Pettifer.

I wouldn't call him a tall defender, but Shaun Burgoyne definetly can defend last two times they have played St. Kilda Burgoyne has played on Milne and given him a bath.

Not convinced he could do it on a regular basis.
Port have Pickett,P.Burgoyne & C.Collins forward as well.

Rogers goes OK on Milne,he's a bit hot & cold
Wouldn't play him on a Matera though,consistently damaging.
Same for S. Burgoyne.

Point taken though.
