He backed this up to play 15 games as a lead up key forward, scoring 14 goals at an accuracy of 64%. He also tallied 23 score assists – ranked equal 9th in the competition. AFL Prospectus
An exceptional first game of the championships, in which he kicked five goals against Vic Metro, including three in three minutes in the second quarter, stamped him as a key forward prospect. He leads well, can take a pack mark, and is capable of scooping the ball off the deck. Intensity has been a question, but maybe not now that’s he growing more confident. Paul Daffey
The key forward impressed for Vic Country in the Under 18 championships and has taken his game to a new level in the TAC Cup. He is a mobile forward with a good leap and clean pair of hands. He presents well to the ball carrier and his set shot kicking is technically sound. Cook will need to have a big finals series for his team to progress. TAC Cup website
