Luke Ball - What do you think?

I personally love him!!
He is my favourite player and I love watching him play...I heard the commentators saying that he is unrecognisable without a bandage on his head, that is pure guts and braveness, he is one of the hardest players in todays game, not laying people out with huge bumps but putting his head over the ball, tackling an opposition player and smothering the ball no matter what, so tell me what you think about him, i am interested in what other people's view of this young superstar are......fire away!!

i agree luke ball is an absolute superstar he has everything. in traffic he's amazing, he's bloody quick and really strong in the torsue. one of the most rounded footballers i have seen in a long time.

From an opposition's point of view...I love watching him play, he is very hard at the ball and even Rex Hunt has made a comment that when he finishes playing...he will end up having a face only a mother could love or somewhere along those lines..

You just marvel at his courage at contests and he is one of my favourite players in the AFL. Good luck to him in his career.

I just wish his elder brother Matty would prove to be just as great. Just feel that the selectors powers-that-be at my club haven't given Matt enough game time to prove he is at least half as good as Luke. To be such would earn Matty a first 22 spot at the Hawks on a regular basis.

Luke Ball: Great Bloke, Such a smart kid and a great footballer. He is someone any kid would aspire to be like. And he's a Xavierian. I wish he was at Collingwood, so tough yet so skilled. PLEASE SAINTS, I'LL DO ANYTHING TO HAVE HIM AT COLLINGWOOD!

Another opposition supporter 100% full of praise for luke ball.

He is an out and out superstar of the game. And my favourite player, collingwood players included (i'm bored of all of ours - bad form from all of them).

I think that being at the saints, and the hype that surrounds Dal/Reiwolt/Koschitzke will damage his reputation long term. He would be the star attraction of any other team (except west coast with judd) and would no doubt play 200 games as captain at any other side.

But he has such team orientated qualities that I don't think he'll EVER leave the saints (great news for you, bad for 15 other teams) and I don't think he'll ever be paid as much as he should be.

I'd trade any 2 players that collingwood have for Ball.
