Sensational.

I wonder how much they paid Tippet to stay, not worth a cent against a quality defender.

Brilliant today. AA form early in the year.

When the ball is bombed in, and there is a pack you'd back him most times.
When he is on, we are a way better team!

I was worried that he might have been slowing down after the Brisbane game where he was pretty terrible but he's been great since then. Hopefully he can have a consistent year and get the AA nod he's deserved for a while.

Thought he was BOG last week too - though I think I was only one of 2 (with E-Shed?) to give him top votes.

cant believe people reckoned he was almost finished at the end of 2009, especially since he had knee and hamstring injuries..... i have always thought he was one of the if not the best CHB in the league. great game today, but really i expect nothing less as he does this 8 out of 10 games

Luke Mcpaharlin is such a confident tall defender. He plays like a centre half forward. he did take a lot of Aerial marks. Grover was solid as usual. Johnson did well but did maybe 1 if not 2 clangers.

The defence as a whole worked pretty well today. Mind you they were seldom put under any real pressure. Conditions weren't conducive to for their tall forwards to have any impact. Couldn't really tell who was manning up on who from the TV. It's difficult enough when you're at the ground. I assume it was the normal musical chairs. Suban was particularly effective in clearing the ball from the defensive 50 as was MJ. Broughton seemed to have his hands full. Who was he playing on? Perhaps he was being tagged?

Was much better today than last week against Geelong, when he focuses on first to the ball and not scragging his man, he is virtually unbeatable.

Grover = vintage wine

I admit I wanted him gone for quite a while - never been a fan however He has played really well so far - the best football of his career.

Of course McPharlin - excellent positioning and marking in defence . Had a crap first game but has now picked up from where he left off last year
