So why would you pick a guy after a modified knee reco, and who is at a premium price.

Coming off a knee reco with only 10 weeks recovery, no for me.

Wait and see how he goes for the rest of this year and next years pre-season. If his knee holds up then get him next year.

It's also likely that he'll be well below his best and will average below his potential which he would probably reach next year after an uninterupted pre-season.

As said, I wouldn't get him due to his injury concerns, but who knows and definitely 1 to look out for next year.

Was a lock this year until he did the knee.

Will be the type of player you bring in if you've got a spare trade or two later in the year.

If he stays injury-free, then he's a lock for next year, unless the powers that be decide to make him a centre

you would have to be crazy to trade for him when he returns. There would be an increased probability of him getting injured(not necessarily the same knee/unjry) than most other players.

I think everyone is praying he gets back up and running and doesn't re-injure - would mean that knee reco's are no longer season ending injuries.

If he falls in price and then recovers form and fitness come round 15 - then i may be tempted
