He was in a very senior position with a transport company.

Yes he did. As a owner/driver of a truck for a year in 1977, I spoke to Blighty one day on a delivery to Rowntrees. Can't remember if it was before
or after he stuffed that last kick in the mud of Arden St to famously lose the game to the Dawks. Always a very casual man has been Blighty.
