Mick Malthouse is a vindictive, nasty piece of work. Malthouse placed his own needs ahead of the team he coached throughout his final year. He has still never explained his appearance on The Footy Show six weeks before our finals campaign began It was the most sickeningly self indulgent display one could imagine and it was all about Mick and it derailed our season. He lied when he said he could never coach against his boys. We saw the real Malthouse only moments after we won the flag in 2010. Even then, only a minute after the final siren, Mick's first words were about himself and his contract with Eddie. It says so much about the man.

He took pot shots at Buckley even while still coaching Collingwood and did the same last year when he was in the media. He signed the contract and as far as I know there was no gun pointed at his head.

It amazes me how this bloke has tried to portray himself as an innocent victim when he is the one who should be apologising.

I can only hope his time at Carlton is an abject failure. Sadly, he can coach, so my hopes will probably be thwarted.

Eddie's story has not changed ONE IOTA about the handover. Mick on the other hand, has changed more than a chameleon. His comments last night were typical Mick.

He's a piece of shit like I've known for many many years. "Eddie knows why". Clearly he doesn't because because he told Mike Sheahan he'd love to catch up with Mick again.

Clearly Mick didn't want to coach during/after 09, and Eddie wanting to do the best thing by both Mick and Collingwood talked him into staying on 2 more years to try go out on Top.

After winning the flag, Mick got his passion renewed, clearly asked Eddie to change the deal, to which Eddie rightly said "No, I don't go back on contracts" and Mick threw a hissy fit. He can get stuffed.

No, he can't coach. Not on matchday, and has never been able to. He even abandoned his gameplan against Richmond. Pissed me off last night when he said "You need ot have Plan B and C". Really? Where the f**k were they with us for over a decade Mick?

The way he "extricated" himself from his contract executed with collingwood, lied on national television, moved to an arch-rival club, influenced carlton to dump its former captain as coach mid-way through his contract all for spite, vengeance and his self-glorification has made me dislike him as a person let alone a coach.

I'm glad Carlton were sucked into taking him and they will get their just rewards which will be crap. Malthouse and the inner sanctum of people at the club know why Collingwood had to transition to Buckley and he should be truthful about it rather than blame Eddie. He should never be made life member and I for one will oppose this piece of crap ever being a life member if it is proposed.

MM made a bundle at the Pies, was given a book deal, took a commentary position in his gap year, got reappointed as Head Coach on a tidy sum and he's STILL got sour grapes? All but the most fiercely egotistical mind would have to concede that given that kind of fortune in life, you could afford to be a little more magnanimous than that.

It's not just Eddie - he's essentially sticking up the two fingers at the whole Collingwood family.
