Hugely disappointed. I saw this band live for the first time about 3 months ago and i had an absolutely awesome time. They put on a sensational live gig and i believe they were due to enter the studio again for a follow up album. The singer is off to do some solo stuff and the other 3 are goign to create a new project apparently. MAN!!!

Yeah, it sucks... I'm a pretty big fan and have seen them a fair few times live, probably were the best live band from Melbourne going around at the moment. I just got my girlfriend into them too, after she came with me to Swarm Festival, and she was looking forward to seeing them again soon. :(

Zeke can go on a fair bit with his rants, so it's a shame it's split up the band.

Just goes to show socialist collectives can't work :P

On a more serious note, they were a very good live act and it's a shame to see them split up.

Damn that sucks. They we're an awesome live band and The Majority was album of the year IMO.

Completely baffled by this .... to say the least .

The last 12 months especially they have worked thier collective rings off

All roads pointed north

Two sold out tours of Britain , just a month ago they were interviewed on Triple J saying how commited they all were .

Go figure ... i suspect that Zeke is one cat who would tough to get along with for long periods at a time .

Real shame

you've got to wonder how much the ranting and raving that Zeke tended to do at gigs contributed to the bands demise. I understand that they were a pretty political band but the others didn't seem to be as into it. I'm seriously pretty pissed, i really rated The Majority and was looking forward to the second album. As mentioned this seems a bit out of the blue with recent successes overseas, it seems as though they'd made some massive strides.
