The club i think have released Sean Mcginity for behaviour/discipline issues, last straw i believe.
And Darren Fletcher has had a successful operation for his chronic bowel problems. He is excited and looking forward to playing next season. Will be like a new signing, as they say.

I think it would be naive to think he will waltz back into the team and be the missing link we need in the middle but I guess he will help. I just hope his return won't mean we don't sign a new CM

You guys remember Rhain Davis? The 9yo we signed 6 years ago from Queensland that was all the hype down here.

Pretty disapointed with that. To give up a 3 goal lead with 10 minutes to go is unacceptable regardless of what team we put out. In fact we have been rubbish since the Madrid game. Lukaku is a beast though

yeah disappointing to finish on that note. ando played a full 90 finally, kagawa was very good, chicha finished off on a high and a great cross for the first, RVP golden boot, cleverley okay, buttner a good winger but not so a defender, valencia looked really good surprisingly (when going forward), jones and evans partnership needs work.

as someone else said, why would chelsea wana spend 50M on a striker when you have someone like lukaku. will be a world class in 2-4 seasons i would imagine. we were truly scared of him

Not sure what was to blame for that collaspe. Was it the CB pairing or Lindergaard? He looked like a cutboard cutout in goal.

How about Buttner who forgot that a LB needs to cover the LHS of defense. His positioning was dreadful and continued to play as if he was a CB. Defended terribly IMO in that 2nd half.

Also having Giggs and Scholes on together slowed us up a bit.
