The club is a cash cow to them. They'll use the clubs money to pay off the debt they put on the club to buy it. And then they'll use it to prop up their other businesses.

Hey guys first time in here just curious about the Glazer ownership if anyone would like to clarify, is the situation similar to Liverpools previous owners in Gillett and Hicks? Also how are you guys able to spend or bid on big transfers as well as high wages? Is it going to screw you guys in the long run?

Ahem I think there is a talking point that is about to light up this thread.. What will be our ideal first 11 and what formation with the latest purchase?(pending medical and personal terms).

Cleverly if he stays fit. Maybe gambling on that. But hopefully a midfielder coming in before the end of the month.

What number will RVP get? Was going to get a Kagawa 26, but maybe an RVP one now just to troll Arsenal supporters when I'm out and about.

I would have thought berba will be sold and RVP will take number 9.

Left back a bigger priority. Despite Rafael's error in the olympics, he is a very good young right and will have a good season.

Evra's good for another season or two (although he'd want to have better campaign this time around) and Friars is a good young left back. Rafael is too undisciplined and erratic (his passing has been atrocious) - would take a huge change in mindset to become a consistent, reliable player. When Rafael was fit last season, Ferguson still cycled Smalling and Valencia through that position. What does that say?

Fryers doesn't play for United anymore...
Evra is far more unreliable now than Rafael. The amount of goals he cost us last year from being out if position was poor. Not only is he now ordinary, Evra is the only left back in the first team. At least we have Jones and Smalling to cover right back. Valencia was actually quite good there in pre-season as well.

Fergie just had an interview with MUTV and said that he's got another player in mind but will only sign him IF he's available.

2 weeks left in the window so there is still a bit of time to sign 1 or 2 players.
