Was pretty disenchanting with all the transfer nonsense before the season started and not getting anyone in.

Played poor that game. Hardly created any good chances.

Moyes does need time to work his magic, he is a very good man manager and will probably get the most out of Nani, Valencia etc.

That game was shit and we really left it too late to buy some players with their being only 23ish hours left in the transfer window.

Also Giggs just cannot start in high intensity games anymore and Kagawa was fit and yet not selected which is bizarre.

I think the problem we have is that no manager will live up to Sir Alex. Best manager ever and by quite a stretch. I think Moyes will be good if given time but if we don't spend a bit of money then we will just turn into another Arsenal and the pla$tics will win every year which would be bad for the game. We can't compete for the title, let alone Europe which a midfield of Carrick, Cleverley, Anderson and Giggs. Carrick is good but if we don't sign anyone and he gets injured we're ****ed. I find it hard to believe that there were players like Thiago available for such a small fee and we weren't interested. But now we are bidding 30mil for Herrera (who I would still take). 25mil for Fabregas. Why the **** would they accept that? I think my team on manager mode would make be a better list/transfer manager

I don't blame Moyes for our lack of transfers though. He's not in charge of that. Woodward or whatever his name is, is I think. I think we need to make a statement signing before the window closes just to show we are still the big boys of the league and we'll do as we like but I can't see that happening

On the game today, I am not surprised tbh. Liverpool have been playing ok but I am not worried as they will drop off soon I expect. Moyes will take some time

Having to pay an extra 6mil though would have been a bad move. Herrera wasn't worth what was agreed on the buy-out. Still we should have had a backup option and not waited until the final day to do deals.

He had a solid season but that's about as good as he'll get - his poor form in the past has been offset by the fact that he was one of Ferguson's favourites. Far too passive a player in big games and this season thus far has been no different. Admittedly, he's hardly being pressured by the other players who play his position in our squad.
