Yeah he's doing very well. I think we all expect that to be his standard.

For the derby I would like:
de Gea
Smalling, Rio, Vidic, Evra
Valencia, Carrick, Fellaini, Nani
Rooney, RVP

Welbeck would be my 1st pref for LW but he's a doubt and I don't want Young

Jesse Lingard has banged in four ******* goals on his Birmingham debut (one month loan for those who didn't know). What a great effort in the Championship. Has had a very good season so far.

Say what you want about Rooney, he (along with Vidic), puts in more effort than anyone else in the team. Too many are too happy to take the easy option out, be it the easy pass, or a decision not to challenge or be it covering a man. Evra and Rio both have shocking positioning now. Fabio should be starting over Smalling in Rafael's absence. Carrick has dropped off significantly from last season. Fellaini is average. Young is just beyond shit. Valencia is average. Welbeck shows glimpses but doesn't know what to do when it comes to shooting or making a final pass.

It is a disgrace the lack of football that Kagawa and Zaha are seeing. Total shit. Moyes says it was important with the fixtures we had early in the season to pick our best team, he was right. Kagawa and Nani are in the best team, if not Nani then Zaha.

Didn't watch but by the reactions we had an absolute shocker, I knew it was going to happen as well. We have to many average players that just aren't good enough, talking about Welbeck, Cleverely, Young, Valencia etc.

I'd much rather see Kagawa, Chicharito, Nani, Zaha and Januzaj get game time over these guys.

Could be a long season for us guys!

Starting Welbeck up front on his own, Young on the left and Smalling at right back was a disaster waiting to happen.

Even then, the whole team looked flat. Tell me why it was so hard to go buy Eriksen or Kondogbia (or both) and back someone in like Zaha from the get go? Juanzaj, Nani, Zaha and Kagawa need to be in the side going forward. No need for all of them - but gee do we need some energy on the park.

I think it's an understatement to say that we are a complete mess right now.

It ain't funny anymore, we're in big trouble.

Who would replace him?

As bad as he is going, I can't see us getting rid of him.

6 games in and the title is nearly goneskies. what a horrid start this has been. Moyes' team selections are bewildering and some of the stuff he says is just downright mind boggling.

I blame the cattle more at the moment. Moyes has made some mistakes definitely but the players sure haven't helped him in his early days as manager.

Experienced guys who you'd expect to be consistent while Moyes tries to find his best team have been ordinary. Ferdinand, Evra, Carrick, Young and even Valencia have all put in some shockers.

They screwed up horrendously in the transfer season.

Sir Alex was a brilliant manager. The squad he had been managing for the past two years has always had issues. Our best defender was out for the season while a new goalkeeper was trying to show his stuff, our midfield was terribly inconsistent, Rooney was our only consistent attacking option and you couldn't rely on much depth. Moyes is struggling to get as much out of a more limited squad and to be honest it's not really surprising. At least we signed RVP last year, and to be honest he saved us. Paying more for a guy than City did for Silva and Toure who isn't worth that just showed how desperate Moyes was to sign some help.

I don't see us becoming a threat in Europe again until we find some consistency out wide, out to the left in particular and in the centre of the pitch.

I'm still definitely in the Moyes camp but the pressure is getting immense now. Agree a few senior players have let him down for sure. Tough game this midweek in the CL

Yeah the players haven't helped him at all. Only positive is Rooney is a new player, looks much better than last season.

I think we just have to many average players who Fergie knew how to get the best out of them, Moyes is finding it difficult and has now come out and said we don't have enough world class players to compete.

Still early days, but what's it now? 8 pts from the top? Shaky grounds and the pressure on Moyes is increasing a lot every day.
