Nothing in this universe is infinite. This planet, and our race is absolutely no exception. It's a question of when, not if. But what's going to cause this planet's extinction? Will it be terrorism? Or nuclear holocaust? Will we run out of water? Will we all fry from global warming and the breakdown of the ozone layer? What'll get us first???

We'll probably evolve like we have over the last however million/billion years into something else.

Probably the biggest problem, at least over the next 1-2 hundred years, is the possibility of a dictator taking over a country and deciding to see how much destruction he can cause....

Capitalism and consumerism is killing us already. A system based on continual growth simply can't last on a planet with finite resources. Eventually something's gotta give.

The apocalypse is here, it just isn't as impressive as everyone thought, so nobody seems to have noticed that we're losing.
