Sharapova just wont lie down, she has broken Serena once again and now leads 4-3 deep into the 3rd set, she must hold serve here and take a 5-3 lead or it will start messing with her confidence!

Serena takes a 6-5 lead now, and I cant see her losing from here! Maria has had her chances, twice served for the match and couldnt take the opportunities. I hope she proves me wrong, but I think its all over now!!
 
Serena up 7-6 in the 3rd set...good to see the Australian Open IBM Score OnDemand is up with the rules, says Williams has won the match at 7-6 in the 3rd, must have forgotten the 3rd set in a GS in an advantage set!

Still think Serena will win though :( :(

Serena wins 8-6 in the third. F*CK IT!!

Sharapova had her chances, twice served for the match, once at 5-4 in the 2nd and then at 5-4 in the 3rd, with 3 Match Points in the 3rd set she really should have won this game. Once it went deep into the 3rd I had the feeling Serena would win, Maria has had some tough games and would have been exhausted. She had break points in Serena's last service game that would have seen her serving for the match again, but couldnt convert and a BIG opportunity has gone begging for Maria!

She should be bitterly, bitterly disappointed with the loss today, it was her game to lose, and she lost it! Inexperience? Nerves? Tiredness? Who knows, all I know is that Maria shouldnt have lost today...especially when she had 3 Match Points....man am I ********ed off, I cant stand Serena! :mad:

After watching the last set after the men's semi last night, I have to say that I am rapt that Maria lost. How someone can a) scream as she does and b) get away with it, I don't know. The stupid blonde even screams when she does a drop shot :rolleyes: Her screaming (it's not grunting due to exertion) must be outlawed, and I for one, will never find myself supporting her ever again. I thought Seles was bad, but Maria is far far worse.

Oh for crying out loud, you cannot be serious! Ban someone fron grunting is an utter joke! It is part of Maria's game and something she has done since a kid. How about I tell you when you go to the footy, you cant say anything! Serena grunts, Venus grunts, even Molik has grunted...they all do it, I cant believe how fickle fans are these days in relation to these things...quick get off the net Humphrey might be still on, at least he doesnt say anything for you, just the way you like it you pathetic loser!
 
tennis players are soft, thats the matter of fact. One of the only sports were crowds can't make noises during the play. Imagine if they had to play AFL with crowds lambasting players for no reason. There is no doubt in my mind they've got it good and are in no way as sportingly talented as an elite AFL footballer. tennis is an easier game with more money and less pressure.

get ********ed idiot, you wanna test me ****************? Maria screams, she doesn't grunt. You don't grunt when you hit dropshots, she has a conscious habit of screaming. I'm sick of her, pretty or not. I cannot watch her with the sound on.
