Mark Blake?

Out of contract this year, worth going after?

Would be a better option than Mark Jamar going forward, I'm still hoping PJ will fulfill some of his potential but we can't wait forever there either.

Father son pick at Geelong, i wouldn't say never but its highly unlikely.

Still reckon Wood is worth a look. Maybe with the acquisition of Judd, players may be more willing and interested to be part of what we're building here

PJ will be better than Jolly.

Jolly was offered 4 - 5 years???? at Sydney????

Bah Jolly, never lived upto his potential when he was here. Haven't watched too many Swans games, and have been too blind on the last Saturdays to notice.

Warnock for me.

But seriously, if we are chasing Judd, Warnock, Jolly or Blake would be 1st rounders, you would think... I don't see it happening.

??? to Freo for Warnock would be good.

Why would I want an immobile player who cannot even kick a football?

hey all

slightly off topic - someone mentioned Wood's name and I was wondering what melb fans thought he was worth

Unfortunalty the players we would need would be someone like a Robbo (help for Browny) or a Rivers (we are light on in defenders) and I cant see either of them being traded

As for Blake - put it this way.....If i was involved in recruting for a club that need a ruckman, I would of already talked to him by now!!

I'd be interested in Wood, and would give up Robbo if the deal is right.

Not Rivers though, too valuable down back.

Like i said we are light on defenders - i guess having robbo foward means Braddy to go into defence
Merrett, Patfull, Roe = more defense than Melbournes had in a decade, Rivers is not up for trade.

I value Wood at around pick 18, which is where he was drafted in 04, if we had two second round picks I'd offer one of those, but we might have no second round picks after a Judd trade. Do you see Robbo alone as equal value, I do and would happily do that trade.

Blake would be the worst option going forward of any ruckman I've seen.

But he'll be a very good player with a big future, he won't be leaving Geelong.

Despite popular opinion, Brad Miller has the ability to play football WHICH MAY COME AS A SHOCK TO SOME! But he needs a change badly. He's a Queensland boy and maybe Leigh can slap him straight and make him into a good forward to help Brown. He's got the talent just wouldn't know how to use it. I reckon that'd be adequate for Wood. He's got leadership skills about him too.

But Bails may work wonders with him. Either way I'm not too fussed, I say it allll the time but I like the cut of Woods jib so gimmie gimmie gimmie
