If the rumours about him wanting to leave Sleepy Hollow are true does anyone think we should take a look at him?

Everitt may not play beyond next season and it's looking more and more unlikely that Doyle will become a decent senior ruckman.

While our recent ex-geelong players didn't exactly set the SCG alight, I reckon he's at least worth considering.

Thoughts?

I think he is definitely worth a look, especially if Darren Jolly decides that he wants to go back to Melbourne. He played 22 games this year in a team that destroyed all before them. If he wanted to go to Sydney I would be happy to have him play with Spider for a year and then work with the up and coming ruckmen from the ressies.

Blake wont be going anywhere. He missed out on the Grand Final but its not the end of the world. Yes it would hurt, but he can't let emotion get in his way of staying at the club. He was a father son selection for the Cats so I think he along with King will re-sign and remain at Kardinia Park.

Couldn't have said it any better myself

The midfield made him good.

Thats a definate concern. Players can often look a lot better than they actually are in a team as dominant as Geelong have been. However he still looks to be a decent prospect that could be developed over then next couple of seasons.

After our experience with "Torture" Chambers, I don't want any more ruckman from Geelong thanks!!

Honestly , I'm not sure we what you saw in Chambers. Blake is in a different class.
He has taken a while to come good but this year showed that he may develop into a very good tap ruckman although there is a question about versus big bodied rucks. This and the fact that his around the ground skill's would be worse than Barry Round and we have the reason why was dropped. He is young and could improve in this area , but if couldn't see that he is not upto a fit S.KIngs level, as seen on GF day, then he has illusions about his own worth. To spit it , when he was dropped to bring in a former B&F, All Australian makes one wonder about his mental capacity for challenge. Sure he was disappointed but really grow up will you
