I rekkon this guy will be able to do a required job for most part.
He's not flashy as such but could serve us with a plate of contentment
at best.
Unlike Ray Hall he should be able to take a considerable part of his opponents
efforts which will already be a plus.
It's easy to say he's a dud and start the negativity but he should at least be given a go otherwise the whole exercise is one of futility.
Thoughts?

All he needs to do is bring the ball to ground. Let our growing fleet of midfielders do the rest. I think he will be a great pick up. His experience down back will also be a huge plus.
With Gasper fitter and Jackson, moore and even Tuck our defence doesn't look to bad.

The more I look at the list the better it looks. top 2 finish. :D :p

Guys, i doubt Plough is going to base our future around the lad.

He is a solid player, trys hard and by no means utterly bad. Our defence is very weak and Graham should strengthen us for a season, maybe 2 untill the kids mature abit.

Good, short term pick up. :)

Wallace pretty much echoed the same on both SEN and 3aw a short time ago.

Said he would be happpy to see him act as a mentor to someone like moore who he could help develop into a KPP.

Great pick-up at # 67.
I was hoping we (bulldogs) would get him... just what we need an experienced full-back, but it was pretty inevitable the tigers would.
A ready made quality full-back... do you think he'll slot straight into that role?
Good 1-2 year player, wallace has done well with these kind of players before he delists them. win-win IMO

He did ok over at Hawthorn, but was delisted by Hawthorn because of his age.

He is a bit slower than what he was, but his skills would be handy for Richmond.

Put him at CHB

Or the Norm Smith :)
Or the wooden spoon... He can play though Heebee, you don't play 223 games if you can't and was surprised he was shown the door but AC just took a hard line with players of that age under the youth policy our clubs adopted, and a guy like Barlow would also come under that category as when fit he could really play! Stiff both of them but it all comes back to how small lists are and getting time into younger players, that said,i reckon he'll be good for you and with the year Gaspar had last year Heebees good insurance if Gaspar can't get back to his best. At least in the short term anyway. Will be a good role model for a few of your youngsters in the way he goes about it,hell of a good bloke to boot. Good luck to him, just not against his old mates!

If we get a Greg Dear type performance I'll be more than happy.
