I was watching Inside Cricket last night and I caught a bit of Malcom Speed's comments re junior. He said that the best way for Mark to exhonerate himself was to cooperate with the investigation commitee. Now Malcom would be aware of the allegations and so for him to state that Mark has to exhonerate himself then the allegations must be pretty serious.
If that is so, then why the hell is Mark Waugh still playing, and why do we have to wait until February for the interview between Mark and the ICC investigators. Isn't that like a football player king hitting someone and the tribunal saying don't worry about the hearing we'll do it when the season's finished, or a murderer being allowed to roam the streets until his court appearance?
I sincerely hope Mark's found not guilty, and what happens to the credibility of the performances of the past 18 months if he is found guilty?
