I was watching Inside Cricket last night and I caught a bit of Malcom Speed's comments re junior. He said that the best way for Mark to exhonerate himself was to cooperate with the investigation commitee. Now Malcom would be aware of the allegations and so for him to state that Mark has to exhonerate himself then the allegations must be pretty serious.

If that is so, then why the hell is Mark Waugh still playing, and why do we have to wait until February for the interview between Mark and the ICC investigators. Isn't that like a football player king hitting someone and the tribunal saying don't worry about the hearing we'll do it when the season's finished, or a murderer being allowed to roam the streets until his court appearance?

I sincerely hope Mark's found not guilty, and what happens to the credibility of the performances of the past 18 months if he is found guilty?

Have you ever heard the term

"Innocent until PROVEN guilty"

If Mark Waugh is proven guilty at a hearing, then and only then should he have all matter of sh!t kicked out of him!

And comparing Waugh to a murderer fair dinkum what are you, a hysterical Indian cricket supporter???

Cheers

Gonzo

I wasn't comparing him to a murderer, just the way the situation has been handled.

The problem is that there have been allegations so why not not hurry up and sort them out. If the allegations are only minor them the ICC should come out and say so. The fact that they haven't only strengthens the suspisions.

They're probably waiting for him to retire before they investigate him.

Fair comment.

Actually I've calmed down a bit now. After reading about the Indian board we've got nothing to be ashamed of.

Cheers back at ya!!
