I don't want to get ahead of myself because it could be seen as a Mark McGough type game because the wet may have suited him but that was an excellent debut.

We have a player. How good he becomes who knows..but we wont die wondering with him.

Played like a 3rd year player. Really impressed, probably as tough a game you could ever debut in!

Thought he was terrific. Really very composed, did a lot of great stuff in close, kept the ball going our way. Two hearty thumbs up.

He has the pace we need, and a booming left boot. He was great tonight.
Also Jamie Elliot, though he was only on for a quarter, I saw a strong mark, and a rag doll tackle. That's all I need to see.
There was an article written at the start of the year that said we had no depth.
We have played plenty of kids, all of them have done enough to suggest they will be ok. Kudos to Bucks for playing the kids.

We would have depth if we didn't keep gettting injuries. Having said that, the replacements are often not much worse than the injured players. Good debut from the boy. Great to see him come so far so early.

Had 11 disposals, and was clean with almost all of them - very happy about that. He'll flourish against GCS and Melbourne, very excited. I want to see Jamie get a full game next week, but that being said I'm not sure who you'd have as sub with Marley and Sinkers playing so well.

It's not surprising that he had so much composure and maturity. He was always the kind of kid to have an abundance of confidence and never any self-doubt. For a first gamer to have some assurance, even arrogance, is a big plus.

I won't be surprised if he becomes a consistent, first 18 kind of player for you guys.

give him a good run of games see how he goes.

Could he play that role on the smalls? like a betts or garlett against carlton? definitely has the foot speed.

Was very good, hard in and under player. Was great to see him put his body into packs to create a contest. Next week we may rest a couple of players, so hopefully both Wiliams and Elliott get decent game time next week.

I tend to agree. He looks a cocky bloke but i like that, as long as you can back it up on field.

A lot of blokes struggle in their first game but he looked like he belonged, especially in terms of physicality.

Dave, to be honest, the bloke i first thought of was fasolo. He is quite similar in terms of confidence. Marley is a lot tougher than Fasolo but Fasolo prob better skills.

I am not sure what's happening with Fasolo. His confidence seems to be getting worse. However he is still only 19? and will be a gun imo.
