I was disgusted with Nick Stevens last night....

In fact the more I think about it, the more I am over this guy.

He has only played about 5 blinder/ripper games this year (08).

Unless he is left to roam free without a hard tag, he just doesn't do what he should for a big name gun mid fielder.

Good to see him have a nice lesuirely jog behind Bateman last night...

We should trade Stevens and pick 6 for Kerr.......at least we will get a week in, week out consistent performer.......

Poor effort by stevens last night... i think he is good trade bait .... but i dont think the team will trade him off, he would be best suited in a team like hawthorn or the bulldogs. goin for a flag and just to add abit of depth

lol the most over rated player at Carlton gets found out at last. Don't know where some of you come with with the stuff about him being elite etc. Always seems to go missing when the heat is on, his disposals aren't the best either.

Stevens has so much talent but he has two flaws:

1. HE is soft and will not put his head over it
2. When the chips are down he refuses to work 2 ways.

Overall I think that he has a tendency to play for himself and should not be considered in your best midfield combination given the rise and rise of Murphy, Gibbs and Russel etc

Yeah I thought he was going to be even better with Judd there because he always complained about getting the number 1 tag. Now that Judd is there Judd gets the hard tags and Nick gets the second tag, pity he still cant seem to break tags. As for his skills uh huh elite I hear people say, haven't seen that for someone who wants to be captain of the club he has shown this year why he was overlooked again.
