How good has he been the last 2 weeks? Maybe didn't start the season well but it was going to take him time coming back.

We have found the answer to our kick in problem.

I think the answer to the kick in problem is to take them as quickly as possible, regardless of who is taking them. It stops the opposition from being able to set up properly.

Clarke has been good in the past few weeks though. The most impressive thing for me is his willingness to take a hit or get tackled. He's not just doing all of the work on the outside of the contest.

My man Marty.

People are having a go at us for Mick leaving and thus Leon leaving.

Well it's highly likely that Marty wouldn't have returned if Mick was still coach, there was no love lost there.

Great game, he's getting better each week.:thumbsu:

Sen-****ing-sational last night. Everything he did was superb. Really looks to have re-adjusted to the pace of the game now. :thumbsu:

Thrown in the deep end with early season injuries when realistically he probabaly should have come through the VFL....and six weeks later hes an automatic selection. Amazing progression for a player two years out of the game.

more consistent top line efforts and he remains a fixture in my supercoach side.

the sign of a quality player ;)

on tv there was a short feature on him - says he looks forward to the wet weather. you can imagine his wet ball game will be superior to everyone else. any lack of speed will be forgotten as he watches others slip n slide in pursuit.

I remember when we bought him back into the club by giving up our first round pick there was a long line of posters who bagged him and the decision to get him.

They are strangely very quiet now.

Exactly , does not panic and picks the right option nearly every time.

Needs to be careful with his gaelic style handballs though, one of these days the umpire will ping him for throwing. Not that he IS throwing, but because of the way he holds the ball on his hand hes inviting the umpire to make a mistake.

Just a minor observation.

Exactly what i was thinking, perhaps they mixed up daylight savings time with Rip Van Winkle time.

Own up.....I have, I doubted "the Boot" & McCaffer. Posted on here after the Adelaide NAB cup game how I was so excited to get a 204cm FB but Keeffey seemed to have gone backwards. Not now, he's a pearler!!!!!!!!!!!

Own up to your immature (if you're under 25 you have an excuse) Marty comments.
