yes brian walsh was sacked due to being abusive to players! he had been warned three weeks prior and continued to do so! the committee wanted him to try and be positive to all the young players and try and help them through a tough year! apparently they have already interviewed a few coaches and one of them would be pretty handy as he could bring a lot of players

Surely you are talking players for next year. I couldnt imagine too many quality players changing camp this time of the year. Creek do have a couple of ex senior players around the club who could at least encourage players for the rest of the year.

This result will be pending on the key inclusions for Talbot this week, and whether they can get their big guns off the injury list. Heard on the BigFooty grapevine over the last couple of weeks, that there are a couple of teams including the above mentioned who are chasing a few key players to bolster their teams (with the money to splash around), in order to help them have a real crack at finals. A lot of clubs in the nearby leagues have heard rumblings of players looking to relocate to certain MCDFL teams.

so bucket, what do u think or kyle lierich as a footballer???....or am i speaking to him??..i like the alias, bucket is a hero to us all...!!!!...good work from him to come back from a career ending neck injury though.......

as for brian walsh being sacked and for the reasons then i believe it is fair enough, they have done a fantastic job recruiting players but a positive environment around the club would obiously be more beneficial for them..hopefully they stick with it and the supporters get behind them....

Kyle Lierich? Junior at Dunolly?

Shall be an interesting match with Dunolly Vs Talbot.. Dunolly with a bit of confidence up in a long time may start using the footy well. They are capable of playing good footy in patches. Just need to put it together for 4 quarters.

Its nice to talk about Dunolly's chances this week as they haven't had many wins over the past few years but I don't think Dunolly will be any match for the botters.

There is still that gap between top 6 and the bottom 5 at the moment. I have a feeling that Rovers may just slip up this week and give themselves a large mountain to climb.

The current top 5 should never drop a game to teams outside the 5 from now on.

i wonder what it cost them to get mick, i know mark plays there, but its a fair drive from lara every week...would have to be something in it i would imagine...i wonder how this will pan out for rovers!!!...as someone pointed out pages back, it might have been a bad year for rovers to shelf out the coin considering how tough the comp is this year...its great for the league though with all the uncertainty surrounding the top 5!!!!

Didn't he sign with Carnham last year then leave before the season started?
 
Dunolly were very disappointing yesterday. They had not scored a goal at 3/4 time and did not look like it either. Talbot's use of the ball was exquisite at times and they recorded a very good win.

What happened at Maldon. Great result for Maldon and it appears they dominated all day. Rovers v Newstead must have been a good game. Newstead appear to have had a good month with no results from it.

Yeah I came back and almost got through a full game of twos. Can hardly walk again today so certainly looking forward to the week off! May have come back a touch too early but was nice to get back out and about again! Talbot 1s & 2s both looking forward to the challenge of taking on Brook in two weeks!

I think maldon are perfoming how we all thought they would at the start of the year, we all knew they recruited well, but they just couldnt get the wins on the board early....they are definately shaping up as the team to beat at the moment. i must say i am very very impressed with there current form...yes newstead have had a good month, but they just dont seem to have the match winners to win games of football atm.
 
yeah the steaders are having a bit more of a dip in the past few weeks but they have still not troubled the ladder with the 4 points...
they just dont seem to know how to win games of footy at the crunch moments
still good to see the young steaders improving
 
Trentham will be happy now that gun recruit Rory Healy is out of plaster from a broken ankle and is starting at physio sometime this week i would imagine. He is expected to be back within the next 3 weeks.Not only does he dominate in the 17s but he is a very handy midfielder in there senior side.

Not sure he will get Trentham up for a finals campaign. I think Trentham have missed the boat now.
