It's actually a good call by the mods.
We have a new recruit, from another country, who is about to try a completely new sport.
He has travelled a long way to try his luck, it's a gutsy move.
No doubt he will be reading forums etc (all things Collingwood) to learn as much as he can & settle in quickly.
Hence, we need to welcome him, rather than scare him off with continuos jokes.
We should be creating a good impression of our country, our sport, Collingwood Football Club & our supporters.

Looking at that twitter has me excited.

Even if he doesn't become a great AFL player he is already tweeting #gopies, on Aug 3 he congratulated the pies on a big win against Port Adelaide and hopefully he gets a few Collingwood fans converted from the US!

I was taking a stroll around the tan in South Yarra today when an absolute giant in an Emirates training top bolted past me - it was the big Cox! holy shit he is big and looked super athletic.
