AFC "Share the Pride"

The Adelaide Football Club is seeking feedback from members and supporters about the match day experience.

Crows chief executive officer Steven Trigg says strong and growing attendances at our home games are a critical issue for our club.

“The Match Day Experience has been under threat for some time now with the AFL increasing the live against the gate TV coverage and coupled with the current economic crisis; it is a serious challenge for our club,” he said. “We are trying to put together a package that is so great you just can’t afford not to be here.

“It is with this in mind that we seek your feedback on this issue. If you click on the link below it will take you to an online survey. By completing the survey it will help give us the necessary information to make sure that we deliver a great match day for you that surpasses any other live sporting event; and certainly makes it better than watching it on TV!

“Please note that we are currently addressing issues, with the SANFL, regarding surrounding structural areas of the stadium such as amenities, seating, concessions, traffic and parking improvements; the information we are seeking is really about the entertainment factor that you would or would not like to see when you come to watch us play at home. Thanks for your input”.

and the tossers who get on them

I've asked for SANFL curtain raisers, I think they can build the atmosphere before the main game and perhaps get the majority of fans there before the first bounce.

OK, alot will cringe but I also want the cheerleaders back. I like a bit of glitz and the odd wardrobe malfunction.

NOOOOOOOO, they have done that already and its horrible, it never created any atmosphere.

My main annoyance is probably more AAMI Stadium related then the Crows, but I would like to see match stats during the breaks.

Also, this is rather petty, but they should arrange the goal kickers list in order from most goals scored to least and not just have it jumbled.

You are clearly going to the football for the wrong reason then if that is the case:thumbsd:

I can't find too much wrong with the 'match day experience'. It is a little overdone, especially compared to how other Clubs run their match days, but is there something wrong with wanting to see the stats during breaks?

I said no to SANFL league, but in one of the comment areas, I said, maybe 18's or even ressies would be good.

The reason I said no to the league was because the diehards who go to all of there teams' games may not be able to see games at AAMI because all the seats may be sold.

agree. But we dont want to be lazy like Sydney and just do nothing.

Stats are for stats people to worry about and for you to read about in the paper the next day, just go and support thats all we are required to do, too many dicks listening to their radios and marking goals in there footy record:thumbsd:

I disagree, I like seeing all those stats ie like at Docklands.
Lots of people who hadn't been to a game at Docklands around me commented on the screens during the Essendon match.

Very over the top reaction Marty.

Theres nothing wrong with wanting to be more informed while at the game.

Would make it far easier to shut down the morons who sit there and start yelling 'you're hopeless doughty', 'ahh douglas, you havent had a touch' etc.

I voted for no SANFL league match curtain raisers - not fair on the SANFL clubs to give up a home game to play in front of what will mostly be an empty stadium.

I did request for James Sherry to replace Tilli - here's a bit of James in his heyday and for stats on the video screen ala MCG/Etihad.

Of course whether the club listens to us fans or not is entirely a different thing.

What annoys me the most at our home games is that annoying Coke promotion they do at 3 quarter time. They say for everyone holding a 600mL coke to hold it up but they have already picked a winner - the announcer is already standing next to that person.

at least they move around. At the SCG I always sit on the hill or infront of the stand on the far wing. But the winner is always in the Bradman stand.

Same at ANZ Stadium. I always sat in the opossite pocket from the camera to the right of the camera. The winner was always about 5-6 bays to my right
